{"id":138317,"date":"2018-12-05T09:51:04","date_gmt":"2018-12-05T14:51:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/webarchive.umw.edu\/eagleeye\/?p=138317"},"modified":"2018-12-05T16:52:53","modified_gmt":"2018-12-05T21:52:53","slug":"barry-presents-at-national-conference-in-denver","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/webarchive.umw.edu\/eagleeye\/2018\/12\/05\/barry-presents-at-national-conference-in-denver\/","title":{"rendered":"Barry Presents at National Conference in Denver"},"content":{"rendered":"<?xml encoding=\"utf-8\" ?><p><a href=\"https:\/\/jenniferbarry.hcommons.org\/\">Jennifer Barry<\/a>, Assistant Professor of Religious Studies, recently presented in two panels at the national conference for the Society of Biblical Literature and American Academy of Religion.<\/p><p>For the first panel, sponsored by the <a href=\"https:\/\/sballies.wordpress.com\/2016\/11\/17\/what-is-sballies\/\"><em>SBallies<\/em><\/a> unit, Barry participated in a roundtable on the<span class=\"s1\"> #MeToo movement and issues around harassment, how to be an ally to people facing harassment or discrimination, and what to do if you see or experience harassment. Each panelist gave a short presentation and then generated a productive conversation with the audience.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p><p>During the second panel, sponsored by the <em>Nag Hammadi and Gnosticism<\/em> session, Barry reviewed David M.
