Bernard LaFayette, Jr., the speaker and author, will sign copies of In Peace and Freedom: My Journey in Selma<\/em> and The Chicago Freedom Movement<\/em>. Books are available in the Bookstore in advance of the author’s speech as well as at the MLK Day event. We can also ensure that the addresses are in compliance with USPS requirements. With new USPS pricing going into effect, we are here to help you save money! Many local businesses offer discounts if you show your EagleOne; check with establishments to see if they offer any.<\/p> Employees may sign up for direct deposit automatic payroll deductions, which requires a minimum deduction of $10 per pay period. Simply fill out the online payroll deduction form<\/a>, or contact the EagleOne office at x1005 for information and assistance.<\/p> The Parking Management office is excited to announce a new management system from NuPark, a leading parking management technology company. The new parking system will allow decal purchases and citation appeals through a customer portal that can be accessed through single sign on.<\/p> As a part of this transition, decals will be unavailable for online purchase between 5:00 p.m. on January 17, 2019 and 10:00 a.m. January 23, 2019. If a decal is needed during this time, please email parking@umw.edu<\/a>.<\/p> In addition, the Parking Management office will be closed from Tuesday, January 22, 2019 through Thursday, January 24, 2019. Please email parking@umw.edu<\/a> with any questions and\/or parking requests. Parking Management will respond within 24 hours of your request.<\/p> Thank you for your patience during this upgrade.<\/p> Welcome back! The Post Office is extremely busy this time of year. Please be advised that there may be extra time to process outgoing requests, so plan your shipping needs accordingly.<\/p> A USPS rate increase takes effect January 27, 2019. Stamps will increase from $0.50 to $0.55 each. The UMW Post Office will have additional forever stamps on hand, so please plan accordingly and stock up before the increase.
