\"GariIn May<\/span>,<\/span> the University of Mary Washington Museums <\/span>received<\/span> a $5,480 Community Relief Fun<\/span>d grant from the <\/span>Community Foundation of the Rappahannock River Region<\/span><\/a> to increase online educational content.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>

Both the <\/span>James Monroe Museum<\/span><\/a> (JMM) and <\/span>Gari Melchers Home & Studio<\/span><\/a> (GMHS) are pleased to announce the launch of their <\/span>interactive and immersive<\/span> 3D Virtual Tours. These 3<\/span>D models, or “digital twins,” provide a real world, walk-through experience from the comfort of home. Explore the museums using either the Dollhouse or Floor-by-Floor layout experience. Event rental clients will benefit from the Measurement Mode option that allows users to take and share property measurements with a simple click.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>

The tours are further enhanced by videos, high-resolution photography, and artifact information, plus links to blog posts, lesson plans, and online museum stores. <\/span> <\/span><\/p>
