While campus quiets over the summer, creativity is heating up in the Digital Knowledge Center!<\/p>\n

This month, faculty and staff have an exciting opportunity to step away from their regular routines and explore new digital frontiers through the DKC’s Faculty & Staff Digital Knowledge Camp.<\/strong><\/p>\n

During the last two weeks of July, the DKC’s creation spaces will be open to all University employees, with DKC staff offering specialized “badging” sessions for those ready to tackle new digital skills.<\/p>\n

Whether you have been harboring dreams of launching a podcast, finally building that website, designing custom stickers, experimenting with 3D printing or creating video content for YouTube or social media \u2013 now is the time! This camp provides both the space and guidance to make it happen.<\/p>\n

The program reflects a growing recognition that digital literacy isn’t just for students. Faculty and staff increasingly need these skills for everything from course enhancement to departmental communications. It\u2019s a fantastic opportunity for digital skill-building and professional development with help from professionals or by retaining independent workspace during summer\u2019s slower pace.<\/p>\n
