The show, &ldquo;Dreams of the Civil War,&rdquo; will air beginning on Saturday, Nov. 2.<span id=\"more-70201\"><\/span><\/p><div id=\"attachment_70221\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\" style=\"width: 310px\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.umw.edu\/news\/files\/2013\/10\/Michael-Spencer_WGR.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-70221\" alt=\"Michael Spencer\" src=\"http:\/\/www.umw.edu\/news\/files\/2013\/10\/Michael-Spencer_WGR-300x190.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"190\"><\/a>\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Michael Spencer<\/p>\n<\/div><p>The program also will feature commentary from instructors from several Virginia institutions, including Christopher Newport University and Norfolk State University. Topics of the show will include life during the Civil War, the influence of slave culture and American colonial essayists. Audio files of the full program and its companion news feature will be posted online the week of the show at <a href=\"http:\/\/withgoodreasonradoi.org\/2013\/dreams-of-the-civil-war\/\">withgoodreasonradio.org\/2013\/11\/dreams-of-the-civil-war\/<\/a>.<\/p><p>&ldquo;With Good Reason&rdquo; is a program of the Virginia Foundation for the Humanities. The show airs weekly in Fredericksburg on Sundays from 1-2 p.m. on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wvtf.org\/index.php?option=com_content&amp;view=article&amp;id=117&amp;Itemid=125\">Radio IQ 88.3 Digital<\/a>.
